My artistic approach predominantly revolves around the representation of the human body and its diverse forms. My consistent aim is to work with images characterized by simplicity, enhancing the forms through the careful application of lighting and textures.
In the development of these images, I found inspiration in the marble sculptures created by Auguste Rodin. Rodin's influence is reflected in the textures, colors, and forms that I have incorporated into my work.
The "VERTEBRAL" project has been conceived with the premise of treating each image as if it were a sculpture. This meticulous approach translates into the pursuit of a visual expressiveness that captures the essence and complexity of the human body.
It is an honor to highlight that the "VERTEBRAL" series has been recognized with the prestigious LUX Silver Award in the nude category by the AFPE (Professional Photographers Association of Spain) in 2006. This award underscores the acknowledgment and distinction of the series in the realm of professional photography in Spain.
Mi enfoque artístico se centra predominantemente en la representación del cuerpo humano y sus diversas formas. Mi objetivo constante es trabajar las imágenes con una estética marcada por la simplicidad, realzando las formas a través de la cuidadosa aplicación de la iluminación y las texturas. En el desarrollo de estas imágenes, encontré inspiración en las esculturas de mármol creadas por Auguste Rodin. La influencia de Rodin se refleja en las texturas, colores y formas que he incorporado a mi trabajo. El proyecto "VERTEBRAL" ha sido concebido con la premisa de tratar cada imagen como si se tratara de una escultura. Este enfoque meticuloso se traduce en la búsqueda de una expresividad visual que captura la esencia y la complejidad del cuerpo humano. Es un honor destacar que la serie "VERTEBRAL" ha sido reconocida con el prestigioso premio LUX Plata en la categoría de desnudos por la AFPE (Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales de España) en 2006. Este galardón subraya el reconocimiento y la distinción de la serie en el ámbito de la fotografía profesional en España.
